Subject: Another source for Anti-Reflective film.

Hello all !

Always a pleasure reading those posts that help me keeping my Libby alive. It is extensively used as a GPS now and as a backup PC with an internet access, photo and music repository when I travel in Europe or the US.
Lately I missed a nice opportunity to get a piece of anti-flare film, so I made my own search.
I found this address on the net.

I ordered a piece of film large enough to give it two or three tries because I know how dexterous I am. The big advantage is that there is no need to buy a huge piece of film. It will be cut as you wish.

They recommend two methods to apply the film: the wet and the dry one. The dry one worked beautifully for me. With some patience, millimeter per millimeter the film sticks to the screen and there is nothing else to do in order to have a perfect black surface. Not a single bubble left. Just a matter of working slowly.

All in all it is fast and efficient. For the rest it seems to me that it is like other films described here. I have no way to compare but I used the Libretto in the car after the treatment on a sunny afternoon and it seems to me that yes the film makes a huge difference. The first spectacular visible effect though is the great contrast I get now from the screen. Again, I wish I could compare with another Libretto, side by side

Just my two cents, I have absolutely no interest in that company. If someone else tries them please let me know.

George
