You're starting to sound like a politician John. ;-P You didn't address Tom's request to explain when you said, "you'll need to tailor the pcm board to the cell. Otherwise you risk the danger of cell explosion." I'd guess most of us who have followed this subject through the years are pretty aware of the dangers. But what must we be aware of when doing modifications like this to minimize the dangers?

never said aH capacity had anything to do with it although it does. These
cells are not swappable for other reasons. Sabocenic cells--even
the panasonic--also require modifications. Actually if a person doesn't
know why these cells aren't directly swappable he has no business even
messing with li-ion since laptops are used in public and he is risking
damaging other people not just himself.
