Correct. w/o any switches, Ghost 2001 only saw one partition of something (incorrect size) on the HD, not the four total I have on mine. This is with EZ-Drive running in both instances. That said, you can probably get the drive to work w/o EZ-Drive correctly with Ghost w/o switches if everything on the partition tables is written just right, but I don't know the magical combination that would guarentee this to work everytime. Probably a combination of the suggestions posted earlier about getting the entire HD visible on the Libretto w/o EZ-Drive --- things including using Partition Magic on another machine, Linux/etc. partitioning, making sure the correct FAT partition type value is used, etc. --- Anyways, my installation with EZ-Drive has worked perfectly for years, and figure that they did release it for just this reason -- take care of problems with >8GB HDs in non-compatible BIOS laptops. So, I'm probably not going to be messing with the system anytime soon (unless that 100GB HD comes out soon, cheap) to test every combination of the above to see what else works besides running Linux (here, tar-ball OS backups is way easier than Ghost). --- ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
