Hi John, Replacing the cells are certainly a viable option either with new individually purchased cells or with cells taken from (new) battery packs of other modesl of laptop, although you might be able to get some good deals on new battery packs for the libretto on eBay. There have been several discussions on the topic, they should still be in the list archives.
