http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/tips/GPS/tomtom.htm review here's another 3d pda navi program http://www.gps4fun.com/main_powerloc.php --- anyways, most of the programs for the US aren't that good -- no 3d view, voice prompts, and easy as a car-navi to use. in japan, there are a few that'll offer 3d navi + overlayed real satellite photos, etc. --- funny, at $300 for tomtom + $200-300 for the PDA + $100-200 for a big enough CF card to hold all of the maps, might as well get one of those Garmin all-in-one Hertz GPS mapping units or maybe TopoUSA (which has 3D maps - height info and 3D navi)? Anyways, for this kinda of money, I'd personally either pick the Garmin or the Libretto + MapPoint/Streets&Trips + AGPS for Mappoint (which gives you the turn-by-turn voice navigation). http://www.gps4fun.com/gar_sp_2620.php http://www.delorme.com/topousa/default.asp --- you've got emulator software here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=57265402-47a8-4ce4-9aa7-5fe85b95de72&displaylang=en but who knows about the GPS unit? ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
