Yes...  Installing 98Lite on my 100CT running Windows
98 speeds up the performance of the 100CT incredibly. 
I only where here and downloaded the free version of
98Lite:

http://www.litepc.com/download.html

After you execute the downloaded file, 98Lite extracts
to your C:\ directory.  You then run its executable to
install it.  After that, you go to 'Contro Panel > Add
Remove Programs > Windows Windows Setup' and remove
Internet Explorer.

I replaced IE with a free copy of Opera.  But I also
had created a tiny 300-400MB partition, installed
Win98SE on it, and ran installed 98Lite specifically
to gain enough system resources to get this TDK sound
card to record properly.

I still have my large3 3GB Win98 partition with the
standard Win98 installation, and I dual-boot the
partitions.
