Subject: Cleaning AR film.... Alcohol?
I could only find one thread on this in the archives
initiated by Raymond... and David's reply didn't
mention using any fluid.
I got some kind of soap or grease residue on the film
somewhere along the way that just doesn't seem to want
to go away no matter how long I try using a soft
tissue to clean it up.
David wrote about using rubbing alcohol to clean the
surface of the Libby monitor though. And from what I
can seem, it seems the plastic this AR film is
composed of seems far tougher than that of the
monitor. But I'm hesitant to attempt cleaning the
film with alcohol without feedback on if it's safe.
Anyone try this?
