http://us.creative.com/products/product.asp?category=1&subcategory=204&product=10769 The specs say it needs 2000/XP and a processor faster than what we've got in the Libretto, but knowing most companies, they spec. their current products for more than the absolute minimum nowadays. This is an 'amazing' sound card for the $129 price if we can assume that the stellar Audigy2 PCI platform has indeed been squeezed into the PCMCIA form-factor. The built-in headphone/line-in jacks makes this a great all-in-one device as well. --- Anyways, those wanting better, more noise-free audio from their Librettos should consider taking a test-drive with the Audigy2 ZS card to see if it will even work on such a slow platform as the Libretto, and would work for those wanting a quality audio card that works under 2k/xp (unlike the previously noted TDK PCMCIA card which only runs under 95/98). ===== adorable toshiba libretto The latest news and information for the Toshiba Libretto owner. http://www.silverace.com/libretto/ __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
