Subject: over clocking the cpu on the 110

I've been thinking of doubling the clock for the cpu on the libby. I've had a little experience with that on other equipment--basically it can cause perpipheals like serial ports to run too fast. However as near as I can tell the mmx chip can take the heat with proper power management. Since the moblie chip slows down to zero I just need the make sure the cpu goes from zero to whatever properly :)) zero to 50 in nothing flat!! anyway any interest in something like that?

as far as memory upgrades go the easiest way to do them is get 4MBx16 50 60ns EDO chips and solder them right on top of the old ones. right on the motherboard. 32MB or 64MB chips are the best. they can be found on sodimm memory expasion boards -- I've seen them going on ebay for about 20 bucks. you just have to pull the chips off the board. be sure you give yourself enough room to slide the hard drive back in!! :))
