Well the seller said it was fully tested working and there would be no
problems. As it happens, the board turned up with several components loose
in the bag (badly packaged). I promptly kicked off with the seller and was
able to get him to ship a replacement in better packaging after sending
the damaged one back. Has worked flawlessly since. The board was about
40UKP.

I paid 250UKP for my original Libretto (a *lot* of money IMHO) and as I
said before it was intermittently shutting down. I managed to get the
seller to pay for the replacement board detailed above. 

Tip: Never ever ever buy anything from ebay which is sold *untested* or
*as is*. You're likely to be very unhappy, unless they're practically
giving whatever it is away.
