Could be - sometimes the internal connector starts to get loose. You may have
to reseat it. Otherwise, the flexible connectors used usually don't fail first
- Bulbs and inverter would fail usually before then.
I too was thinking about trying re-seating the video ribbon into the LCD panel in the lid. The procedure of the 110CT is in the manual available for download now on Davids website:
