Vitaly, You can use the Margi without the ZV port but then you need to display the video and audio output using the dongle. To see DVD on your screen you need a ZV PCMCIA port and both your audio and video chip need to have the ZV port connected to the PCMCIA ZV port. The ZV port is not an absolute requirement to use the card but it is an absolute requirement if you want to have video displayed on your laptop screen.
