Downsides? 1) Super-small keyboard - think calculator keys. 2) Super-small <5" screen - think microprint unless you magnify the screen or blow up the fonts. 3) No PCMCIA ports - thus, forget about using those cards for GPS, wireless cellular internet, etc. 4) Vista - think slow processor computer made even slower.
