Sorry for the delay,a few other things were nagging for attention this week.  
The good news is I believe I've found the problem, I just need to do a few 
more tests; hopefully I'll have a fix early next week.

I'm also going to enable the regression tests in the Fedora packages, this 
should help catch some of these non-x86_64 snafus sooner.
