What an awesome use of virtual pc technology! On 8/2/06, *John Hurliman* <[EMAIL PROTECTED] <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]>> wrote:

It's very cool, I had them pop a Gentoo 2006.0 image on there and I emerge -u world and am installing services right now. Going with mysql 5 + php 5 + thttpd, and not sure about an e-mail solution yet.

Also, this should get an e-mail of it's own but Alpha Zaius (Qode) has got an early implementation of the teen grid map api up and going here: http://www.alphazaius.com/mapapi/map_example.php It pulls map textures and region info out of the grid the same way the Map dialog does in the official SL client, except this one converts the images to JPEG format, tosses them on a website and provides a Web 2.0ish interface. Awesome project, can't wait until it's done.

John
