I predicted that when SL scaled to global population sizes that the
forums and the humble collaboration tools in SL would not be able to
handle the sheer quantity of users and all their agendas.

As far as I'm concerned, trimming of the forums was inevitable. It
should be up to the users to branch out and create their own niche
forums. I suspect this is just the start of some growing pains
(predictable ones).

Whilst some change is not always welcome with our immediate
perspectives in mind, we should try to step back and see what's to
come.

I urge you not to leave, perhaps take a short break till things blow
over, but don't leave.

It's just the beginning. And you would be missed.
