That's fair compensation to me :D
The "User not online" message is a bit disconcerting though, even with a bot.
I'd be happy to start a folder in the applications directory for it,
if we could get some more info on what you want it to do.

I implemented this as well IM -> email server -> SL -> IM.   It does
everything ben asks for, the downside, of course, is the message saying that
the other party is offline - which might be a bit confusing to the new user.


A libSL implemenation is probably the proper way to it, once the disconnect
even can be handled properly.   I have some propietary uses for this daemon,
so I'd be happy to pitch in and help.
