I'm going to branch libsigc++ in cvs. The HEAD branch will be for libsigc++ 2.2, which will have minor API additions but which will be API/ABI compatible with libsigc++ 2. The library name, header location, and .pc file will remain the same. This will not be parallel installable with libsigc++ 2.0 and won't need to be. If there are enough useful API additions, then we might even release a tarball of this.
The libsigc-2.0 branch will be for continued maintenance of libsigc++ 2.0 releases.
