Nava, I am interested b/c I've written a similar web-based vt100 client side and a server side json rest service. It is working like a remote terminal; but the communication channel is not encrypted since it is using unencrypted json query back and forth. I would like to convert the multi-tier application to use html5 websock and openssl encryption in javascript; only then it would be highly efficient and secure. Sure, I will have a need for it, but do not have the time to contribute presently.
