Paul,
This is surprising. I had downloaded openssl version 0.9.8i,
which is the lastest build (Sep 2008) and the application crashed.
After your email, i tried building the same sample application
with openssl ver 0.9.8g and there is no crash. However, another issue i
face is with Authentication. I get following message after executing sftp.c
* Fingerprint: B3 33 F4 6D 8A FF C9 D7 3D 62 0C CA BF 17 2D 4C
Authentication methods:
publickey,gssapi-keyex,gssapi-with-mic,keyboard-interactive
Authentication by keyboard-interactive failed!
all done
*
I am not sure why this is happening, as same login credentials
work with Linux.
Thanks,
Kshitij.

Kshitij,
First, have you update OpenSSL? I saw the email that Neil Gierman sent
to you and it sounded like he had similar issues. You should report
back your OpenSSH version to him and copy libssh2-devel on the email.
I'm running OpenSSL 0.9.8.g, same as Neil and am not having any issues
with libssh2 crashing. I'm running it on WinXP and Vista, VS2008, no
problems. That sounds like its your problem.

Paul,
Thanks for your email. I understand that it can work with requires OS's.
However, I am facing major crashes while executing example codes with Visual
Studio 2008. Same works fine with Linux-Ubuntu. Also there are no crashes if
I compile the C code through Cygwin.
Please let me know if you have a sample code that compiles and executes
with Visual Studio under Windowx XP.
Thanks,
Kshitij.

A tiny bit of reading libssh2's sourceforge project page will answer
your question.

Hello all,
I am new to libssh2 and want to use the same with an application
developed with wxWidgets.
If people are aware wxWdiget apps are compatible across
Windows, Linux and Mac OSX.
I wanted to know if libssh will be compatible with these
applications.
Thanks,
Kshitij.
