Cygwin is not windows, it's a unix subset on top of windows. It has
different semantics and probably their own bugs in the unix emulation
layer. It is possible that he's using the poll emulation from cygwin.

Shawn, could you provide us with you config.h, which is being generated
by cmake in the build/include/libssh directory (if I remember ?)
