Hello libssh users,
we have created a libssh 0.5 branch and here is the first release candidate.
http://www.libssh.org/files/rc/libssh-0.4.90.tar.gz
It is pretty stable and tested, see
http://test.libssh.org/index.php?project=libssh
Please test it and report back. The plan is to wait a week or two and fix bugs
if there are some left. Then do more public rc1 and then realese 0.5.0 as soon
as possible.
Most important changes:
* libssh is mostly async and callback based now
* improved Windows support!
* good and complete documentation and a tutorial
* (aris please add missing)
We started to work on 0.6, here are the plans:
* better server support (thanks to Milo who joined the libssh team)
* nice ssh-pki infrastructure
* more unit tests
* complete async support
Cheers,
