Nice way of saying "we need a bug tracking system". :-)))
The OpenLDAP Project uses jitterbugs, which is pretty braindead easy to set up. Symas now uses it as well. Ironically, jitterbugs was written by the Samba guys and now they've gone on to Bugzilla.
Thanks for the suggestion. I believe, jitterbugs has some deficiencies, unfortunately:
At http://jitterbug.samba.org/ it says: | The JitterBug project is no longer being actively maintained Most if not all sites listed under "JitterBug sites" have turned to bugzilla or another bug tracking system (I did not check all of them).
It was even difficult to search for its home page because the name commonly means something quite different (not a real limitation :).
Yes... Symas and OpenLDAP both have hacked copies in their respective CVS repositories. You can get the OpenLDAP copy using the "its" module name if you want to look it over. Most of the patches we've added to the Symas copy have also been merged into the OpenLDAP copy. We can discuss this more off-list if you like.
BTW, your recent bug report is "interesting"..
Oh, I'll bet...
