Yes, the MinGW download site is a disaster, thanks to SF "improvements". However, TDM has done a lot of the grunt work, and written a custom installer program. It can install his custom MinGW distribution, OR it can also install the official MinGW. I haven't tried it, but it's worth a look (and beats the unmaintained "official" installer hands down... http://www.tdragon.net/recentgcc/ -- Chuck
