For cross-compiling Kaffe to the OSKit, we set the CC, CCLD and LD
environment variables before running configure. Works well enough
(we're pretty bad ... the overridden LD is just a shell-script that
does what we want.) You can look at
kaffe/config/i386/oskit/oskit-configure for ideas.
However, I'm pretty sure this is not the "right" way to go about such
things. On the other hand, it seems to work. :)
