I'll look into adding debugging messages for socket too, which should
help debug this. It might take a few days however as I'm somewhat busy
atm.

OK, ready to do more tests if necessary.

p.s. just forgot to add - sometimes I also got this error in the console instead of the one I had already mentioned earlier.
