Actually, it was stated for 1.0.11 and I moved it to 1.0.12, as I don't 
think we'll have much time to look into it. I don't have a problem 
moving it further down the road.

Yeah, we probably want to have something like that on the roadmap, but I 
am also not sure if better suited for 1.0.x or 2.0. There might be some 
significant effort, so 2.0 might be wise. And I want to go RERO on 2.0, 
so I don't think it will add much of any delay to have it in 1.0.x or 2.0.

Sounds good to me. I'm planning to create the 2.0 branch before the 
1.0.11 release, but I'd like to have gerrit finalized before that, since 
libusb-devel will also need to be setup there.

Also, as far as I'm concerned, 1.0.11 is quite ambitious and will keep 
me quite busy, so there are items there, such as addressing the 
polluting OS-X info messages (trac #1), that I am hoping somebody else 
can pick up.
