Sure. After a release and before a new RC, anything is up for grabs.

Now, due to current personal time constraints, my preference would be if 
you delayed this a little bit, but on the other hand, I believe I have 
some of the above integrated in libusbx-pbatard already, so I wouldn't 
mind bridging one of the remaining gaps...
