OK, so the crash happens in libusbx, perhaps because of the fact that there is a bug in the Omnikey driver. But shouldn’t libusbx be able to catch/handle such races of any underlying driver? > On 2012.07.28 12:07, Ludovic Rousseau wrote: > You should report the bug to OmniKey since it comes from their driver. > Or maybe the bug is really inside libusb. So we still don’t know which component is responsible for the crash. > On 2012.07.28 15:51, Ludovic Rousseau wrote: > Compiled with -g compilation argument, not with --enable-debug-log Can you please give me some hints on how to compile libusbx with the right compiler options, that match with the Ubuntu directory scheme? No matter what combinations I tried so far, there were always some files installed in the wrong directory. What I need is a way to compile and install libusbx similar to the package installation. Do you think that I have to recompile the Omnikey driver with the –g argument as well? ========= Regards Sebastian ========= ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
