I guess I should have mentioned a bit about what we are doing. We develop a
client-server remoting protocol (like remote desktop) called PCoIP and we
used libusb to forward all the remote Windows USB requests to the local USB
device attached to the Linux client. It has worked beautifully so far. We
have our PCoIP client running on Windows as well but without USB support,
but now we are investigating libusb support on Windows.
