As somewhat of a license and GPLv3 zealot, I'd be very uncomfortable asking you to change your license. You created the software, it's only fair that you get to choose the license that governs it. Also, I don't see much of a problem having a GPLv3 binary blob (or GPLv3 sample) along an LGPLv2.1 library, so while the offer is appreciated, there's no reason for you to allow a license change.
