@jwrdegoede your reasoning sounds good to me. so we are basically concluding it
is either a bug in my client or kernel itself, right?
i have an idea: what if i add a memmove inside libusbx to every
libusb_control_transfer and libusb_bulk_transfer? this way, if i pass an
invalid buffer to libusbx my program will crash much earlier (with segfault).
what do you think?
