Hi! Just wanted to ask a quick question regarding the bundled libva binary that comes with IEGD. Why is that needed? Any particular reasons? It seems that a custom compiled standard libva works just as fine.
Maybe you Jonathan can shine any light on this? The IEDG manual doesn't say much other than that you should copy the file. The reason is that recent mplayers really needs more recent libva than the ones bundled with IEDG.
