libvirt controls the monitor interface so it can manage the guest while it is running. As such we don't give users access to it, since having two different things changing the running guest state is a recipe for trouble Why do you need to acess the monitor directly ? Our goal is to expose APIs for any monitor command that users would need to use in administrative tasks Regards, Daniel -- |: Red Hat, Engineering, London -o- http://people.redhat.com/berrange/ :| |: http://libvirt.org -o- http://virt-manager.org -o- http://ovirt.org :| |: http://autobuild.org -o- http://search.cpan.org/~danberr/ :| |: GnuPG: 7D3B9505 -o- F3C9 553F A1DA 4AC2 5648 23C1 B3DF F742 7D3B 9505 :| _______________________________________________ libvirt-users mailing list libvirt-users@redhat.com https://www.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/libvirt-users
