Hello, good people. I just merged the fs_experimental branch into HEAD.
It passes correctly 1) the stream implementation unit tests and 2) our
regression suite on x86_64 and i386.

The main advantage is that we have in libwpd now an alternative stream
implementation that our wpd2foo tools use. This implementation depends
basically only on C and C++ runtime libraries as well as on a STL
implementation. The wpd2foo tools can be now built on win32 either using
the MinGW gcc compiler or any M$ compiler from VC6 to VS8. The resulting
binaries depend only on kernel32.dll and should be running well on all
32-bit Windoze.

I equally deprecated the GSFStream class, since all our consumer
applications basicall reimplement the WPXInputStream interface
internally. Libgsf dependency is a bit of pain on win32 because it
changes soname between minor versions and it means that the dll names
change too. The GSFStream class is still used by wpd2sxw. It is because
I would like to keep it running through valgrind in our regression tests
until we remove it completely with 0.9.0 (whenever it will be).

I would like to thank David Hislop for his great work on making the
wpd2foo tools buildable with M$ compilers. Thanks, David.

Cheers

Fridrich
