-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, good people,
I took time and I release today also a bugfix release of the STABLE-0-7-0 branch of writerperfect/wpd2sxw 0.7.2. It is already almost two years since we had last bugfix release. This shows the stability of libwpd API and it is a reason to rejoice. Nevertheless, some changes that improved drastically the stability of wpd2sxw on other platforms then i386 accumulated over the time, and it became reasonable to release them. So, the changes are mainly: - - Make cross-compiling possible and smooth including the compiling of the resource files - - Remove several memory leaks in many of our files - - Do not convert condensed paragraphs since "fo:margin-bottom" negative is not legal in the OOo 1.0 XML file-format - - Work around a problem with libgsf where gsf_output_printf renders undefined behaviour due to invalid pointer to a list of varargs on x86_64 - - Remove leaks due to the use of g_return_val_if_fail - - Add a static styles.xml stream for defaults that OpenOffice.org provides by itself, but KWord needs them. This makes wpd2sxw-generated sxw files load into KWord. - - Avoid duplicate static constants. - - Optimize the generated XML so that it looks more like the one generated by OpenOffice.org. - - Remove several warnings. Statically linked win32 command-line tool can be downloaded on our download page. RPM packages for different flavours of Fedora and SuSE can be found in my repository in opensuse.org build service <http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/fstrba/>. Take them, download them and use them. Cheers Fridrich Strba P.S. If you feel an irresistible urge to hack on libwpd and/or writerperfect, you are most welcome to drop me a line. There is a lot a lot of fun to be experienced. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with SUSE - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFG2EGJu9a1imXPdA8RAgX2AJ9qGeeSQYZHg/NaQkZohZqkzYWvxwCfa0mD xN63d+mqZAo2LpFCfoUIOVs= =luat -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc.
