Hi,
I am using a script that I downloaded from CPAN, Web category.
It is called "timefetch-1.02"
I am using this to monitor web pages. It worked great, except when I started
using the "time out option" to define a time out.
It works for some sites, but it doesn't work for some URLs like
https://www.qhome.net/ld/signup.jhtml
It just hangs when I try to get that URL. I want to tell it to terminate if
it takes more than 5-10 seconds.
I tried setting an alarm inside the script itself, but it didn't work.
Does anyone using that script, or knows how can I get support on it.
