Ping via web-based form

Hallo,

I would like to built a web-based ping utility on my machine, like it is
at http://www.fh-wolfenbuettel.de/rz/service/Ping.html.

Where can I get the ping programm for the server
(my provider has installed e.g. finger and other utilities but not
/ping )

Does anyone know of a script which runs the ping via a web form?
