Greetings,
My apologies if this email bothers anyone, but the list doesn't
contain a faq for me to consult on list behavior. I am interested in
meeting up with and talking to people who may be working with
LWP, HTTP and the HTML modules. I have written one spider using
the sockets library, but its not as robust as I would like. So now I'm
exploring the LWP and HTTP modules as a way of bringing our
spider upto date. Can anyone suggest a book which might cover
these topics? I have Clinton Wong's Web Client Programming, but
that book is so outdated it next to useless, not to mention that the
modules recieved only a very brief coverage. If a book isn't
available, how about a site that details the methods? Maybe some
code samples? I rather learn this stuff instead of poping problems to
the list and letting someone else solve the problems, so if anyone
knows of any good reference sites/books, I'd love to hear about it.

        Thanks in advance,
