Hi,
I've been having problems trying to determine the exact base URL of certain sites. For
example http://www.cvtc.org
When this is put into a browser after a series of redirections and refreshes, you end
up at
http://cvinternet.myway.com/features/members/pd_members.asp
However, according to HTTP::Response the base of http://www.cvtc.org is
http://www.cvtc.org.
I was looking at the header and I noticed it was Microsoft-IIS server and that the
redirection was actually
within a cookie that looked something like this
Set-Cookie: PDID=110019249551; expires=Mon, 18-Jan-2038 05:00:00 GMT;
domain=.myway.com; path=/
I could parse out the domain from the cookie string I guess but I was wondering if
anyone knows a better way.
Also, I was wondering about precedence with regards to redirections. If you have a
Content-Location that differs
from a cookie's domain, which one win's out.
Thankyou for any help
Chris
