Odd thing

Hi,

A touch off topic, but i have a persistant program that forks off processes depending 
on the incomming requests ( lwp/ftp/and a few others )

Thing thats bugging me is that when i do a 'ps ax' i get alot 
of these ' [perl <defunct>] ' showing

As far as i can tell, they arent doing anything/no cpu use/no memory use, but they are 
crowding my output... any way to get rid of this?
