LWP::Simple

     I am new to the list and relatively new to Perl.  I joined the list
with a specific question in mind.  Here it is:

     I have been using LWP::Simple to download web pages.  I recently moved
my scripts to a new server with an upgraded version of perl (5.005), and I
can no longer "get" web pages by using LWP::Simple.  I have been unable to
locate an alternative on CPAN.  Can you help?
