I set up a package which demonstrates the usage of the enhanced SSL
capabilities (Client
Certificates, Server Cert dump) which are provided with our Crypt::SSLeay
0.23 Patch.
All files can be found on:

This package provides addional information on how to use the enhanced SSLeay
capabilities like client-cert and server-certificate dump support for use
with
LWP.
The patch provided with this package is for use with LWP 5.52 which can be
found on CPAN.
Attention: This Patch is *optional*. You can use all the new features
without applying this
patch! Its for convience purposes only.
Requirements:
This package *requires* the patch for Crypt::SSLeay 0.23 which can be found
on
http://www.progredy.de/ (Download section)
Files:
UserAgent.pm : The full patched file for use with LWP 5.52
UserAgent.pm.patch : The patch only
test_download : Simple example for usage without LWP Patch
test_download_ua_patch_applied : Simple example for use with patch applied
Usage:
At first make backup of all files modified!
At second you must modify the provided test_download files (proxy adress).
So read them them carefully!
1. Apply the patch or replace the complete file and modify the appropriate
lines in
script: test_download_ua_patch_applied.
2. If you do not like to patch then modify the appropriate lines in the
script: test_download
For the enhanced options like client cert support please have a look at
the UserAgent.pm.patch
which should provide you with a nice overview.
