My articles are already at
http://www.stonehenge.com/merlyn/WebTechniques/
and I'm continuing to write for Sysadmin and Linux Magazine,
archived at:
http://www.stonehenge.com/merlyn/UnixReview/
http://www.stonehenge.com/merlyn/LinuxMag/
All of the leftover web ideas are going into those two, so if you have
something web-ish you want as a column, PLEASE WRITE ME. Get your
name in lights in a 100k+ circulation magazine!
As for the other WT articles, I don't know how long they'll maintain
www.webtechniques.com, but probably for quite some time still. The
publisher CMP is not going away: they're just getting out of the
market of a practical magazine for developers and designers. Instead,
they decided to focus entirely on buzzwords for the managers, because
they can apparently sell more ad space that way. It's a valid
marketing decision, but a loss to the designer and developer
community, certainly.
