That's the bit I was referring to, yes.  OTOH, the first page I referenced
here said something like "Minimum OS Windows CE version x.xx", with no
mention of NT or 95.  MSDN is a maze of twisty little web pages, and there
may be a solaris version of this fn. for all I know.

Which is no problem to provide really, since there are only a few Windows
flavours, mostly binary compatible.
