Following websites have been suggested here:

http://filterproxy.sourceforge.net/
http://kirra.net/perl/httpd.ep
http://www.floodgap.com/httpi/
http://www.earth.com/server/doc/plexus.html

All of these would be good stand alone web servers.

I want something that I can roll up into my program
and all I need is HTTP GET and POST functionality
and just to support one client.

I should have mentioned this earlier.

Do I sound greedy?

Thanks,

Samy Rengasamy.

My proxy: http://filterproxy.sourceforge.net

Has a perl web server to serve up config pages for the proxy.

And it uses libwww. ;)
