It turns out that this was due to the fact that the tests were using the 
host name returned by the HTTP::Daemon object, which is getting it from my 
system somehow, but I didn't have a host file entry for that domain, so it 
wouldn't respond. Once I created the entry, all tests passed. D'oh!

However, it might be better to have the test just rely on localhost or 127.
0.0.1 for their testing, to avoid getting bogus reports from idiots like 
me.
