Finding the last modifying date of a .shtml file

Hi all,

Please tell me how to find out the last modifying date of an .shtml file
using LWP::Simple, or if it is not possible with this module, using
LWP::UserAgent.

I've tried but it tells me the last modifying date of an .html file only but
not of an .shtml.
