The Solaris version of Perl has been compiled using Sun's compiler, ans that uses different command-line options. Your two possibilities are: * build a new Perl using gcc * build the module using Sun's compiler (assuming you have a copy) - ie make sure that the 'cc' in your path is Sun's.
