last time i looked, lwp did not usually send httpd1.1 stuff...
specifically (if memory serves) it was always missing the Host and Referer

as .net may be assuming they are there?

just a guess

This is the best place to hopefully get this question answered

I have a .NET page written that is viewed perfectly through Netscape, IE,
FireFox and even Lynxx, but when I try and hit the page with lwp I get a
 status 500 error back.

What could be causing such an error?

What is the compliancy level of lwp (i.e. compliant with HTML 4.01
 standards)?

Is there any place I can look into that may be able to help me out further?
